DESERT ARCHITECTURE
SHAPING THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
This year’s forum will spotlight the emergence of climate-smart architecture, contextual design inspired by Saudi’s natural and cultural identity, sustainable material use, and integrated lighting and interiors — key pillars of the newly launched Saudi Architecture and Design Characters Map led by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The Desert Architecture Forum KSA 2025 a Riyadh reaffirms that sustainability is not just a feature — it is the foundation of future cities. We are proud to be at the forefront of this transformation, driving innovation that bridges tradition with modernity, resilience with creativity, and sustainability with progress. GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
ARCHITECTURE AS SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
The event will delve into the integration of nature within the urban fabric, promoting architecture as a form of social infrastructure. Architecture as a social connector. Alessia Maggio as CEO CTO of AMAART and Official Ambassador B-CAD 2025 is the protagonist of the Edilsocialnetwork Hub “Green infrastructure“. Green Infrastructure inspired by sustainability criteria that are not only environmental, but also economic and social. Designing a city, means taking into account architecture, the territory, mobility, technological innovation, and people’s quality of life, integrating them into a system capable of adapting to climate, economic, and cultural changes. The city thus becomes a living and dynamic organism.
Green infrastructure is the key element of the contemporary city: it connects spaces, people, and nature into a single vital network. It is not merely decorative, but a strategic tool for urban regeneration, capable of adapting and transforming. Every intervention—from small gardens to large parks—contributes to a healthier, more inclusive, and more resilient urban ecosystem. Greenery becomes active architecture, able to meet today’s needs and anticipate those of the future.
The theme will take shape within the hub curated by Architect Alessia Maggio, Ambassador of B-CAD 2025. A dynamic space where Institutions, Associations, Professional Orders, Companies, and Studios will take center stage. With her innovative and distinctive vision, she will once again bring a unique touch to this edition, turning it into an even more engaging and extraordinary experience.

ARCHITECTS MEET IN SCHIO
100 STRATEGIES
Exhibition promoted by AIAC – Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism, titled “Observatory of Italian Architecture: 100 Strategies.” On June 13 and 14, two full days of conferences will be entirely dedicated to architecture, with the inauguration of six thematic exhibitions offering a broad overview of the many expressions within the contemporary architectural landscape. In addition, the exhibition will showcase proposals for two key areas of the city. Several architects from across Italy have come together in groups to develop solutions that enhance the potential of these spaces and improve their urban integration. We are pleased to be a part of the event and actively contribute to this important moment of discussion and reflection on contemporary Italian architecture.

MADE IN ITALY – UAE CONVENTION
GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE
The B-CAD Emirates Convention, taking place on April 30 in Dubai, is set to be a landmark event for professionals in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, and real estate. A highlight of the event will be the keynote address by Alessia Maggio, representing AMAART. She will present her forward-thinking vision on the international stage, offering in-depth insights into innovation and design-related topics. The convention is organized by Edilsocialnetwork in collaboration with Italia Camp, Hub for made in Italy led by Leo Cisotta, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Italian Trade Agency Dubai, the Chambers of Commerce, and various Development Authorities.

Supermostra 25 fits within the context of the Jubilee, highlighting the importance of Rome as the starting city for all editions of the exhibition. The initiative aims to promote the talent and creativity of architects from Italy, contributing to a broader debate on contemporary architecture, showcasing the most interesting realities from different regional areas across the country. The Award Ceremony is set to be an exciting event celebrating outstanding architectural achievements in Dubai and an excellent platform for showcasing innovative and influential architectural designs that contribute to Dubai’s iconic skyline. EDILSOCIALNETWORK
A bridge between Italy and the United Arab Emirates for Sustainable Design and Made in Italy Design. Alessia Maggio and AMAART are invited to the Emirates Convention, a satellite initiative of the B-CAD Rome 2024 fair, focusing on sustainable city planning and product design under the theme “Design in Harmony with the Environment”. Edilsocialnetwork organizes the event on May 28th 2024 “Design in Harmony with the Environment: City Planning and Product Design Made in Italy” in association with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In her presentation ‘Open Architecture – Space reflects the project identity‘, Alessia Maggio talks about the buildings and the urban areas that defines the threshold of the inhabited area and how this slowly dematerializes, to find itself in the details of the construction of projects that are related to the importance of sustainability and environment.

TRAVELING EXIBITION
Supermostra Albania originated from a happy coincidence in March 2023, when the exhibition of Italian architects, Supermostra 22, curated by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi and Ilaria Olivieri, was hosted at the University of New York in Tirana. Supermostra 24 Albania, like the other editions of Supermostra, stands out for its limitless nature. Its distinctive feature is the curiosity that drives exploration without obstacles or prejudices, seeking to identify what is brewing beneath the architectural surface..

AMAART founder Alessia Maggio is speaking at the Middle East Rail Conference in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.. Appearance on 30 April at 17:20 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Middle East Rail Theatre. Presentation – Emerging technologies in rail: a glimpse into the future. The 18th edition of Middle East Rail will take place this year from 30 April to 1 May. The two-day programme will host over 250 speakers from across the region and beyond. Join me there for networking and learning as we discuss the future of mobility in the Middle East and explore topics from Sustainability, Mobility Innovation and Urban Infrastructure.

SUPERMOSTRA 24
TRAVELING EXHIBITION
Supermostra 24 arrives at the Casa dell’Architettura, a continuously updated observatory on young talents in contemporary architecture. The conference, organized by the OAR Gender Equality Commission, aims to analyze the “footprints” that women, from the 18th century to today, have left in architecture and design. The selected creations will be presented and the Supermostra 24 will be inaugurated in the presence of the curators and some of the authors of the projects. Among these is AMAART Architectural Design Studio width Alessia Maggio.

PREMIO REGULA VI° EDIZIONE
The 6th edition of the Regula Prize, organized by the Liber Association, took place on Thursday 14 December in Rome at the Campidoglio – Sala della Protomoteca. We are proud and honored to have been selected with the project AZUHR HOLDING Headquarters among the candidates for the Regula 100 Italian Projects Award, published by the publishing house RDE Editore. Alessia Maggio, architect and AMAART director, participated in the event.

The AIAC Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism, in collaboration with the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Trapani, presents the twelfth edition of Architects meet in Selinunte. Title New Normalities, The architecture of the near future. Among the guests expected in Selinunte is also the art historian and critic Vittorio Sgarbi. SACU 2023. XXXIII Edition. AMAART founder Alessia Maggio is Guest Speaker on 02 August at the 33rd Seminar and Prize of Architecture and Urban Culture in Camerino, Italy. This edition of the Seminar will take place in the Conference Palace from 30 July to 03 August and will have the theme “CARE OF PLACES”. AIAC, the Italian Association of Architecture and Criticism, presents the 11th edition of Architects Meet in Selinunte 2022. Entitled “Volare Oh Oh – Regenerate, Requalify, Restart”. Organized by the architecture critic Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi and AIAC – which every year brings together national and non-national architects among the temples of the well-known Archaeological Park in the province of Trapani, to discuss some of the most current issues in the discipline.

The personal exhibition of Alessia Maggio at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018 call in a sense of calm, refuge, and reflection, with the aim of opening up new perspectives on the world of architecture. It is the perfect opportunity to talk about the design process and to outline our approach and trace the changing framework conditions in which the buildings are created. There at the European Culture Centre in Venice we are describing four Roman railway stations who have reinterpreted the relationship with the city.

Supported by the German Design Council the official awards ceremony will take place on 8 October 2018 at the architecturally significant Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. The Iconic Awards particularly reward excellence in innovation and visionary buildings width the ability to deliver innovative and cross-cutting solutions.

COMPETITION WON IN SALERNO
Salerno rewards the design antenna that eliminates the pylons from Colle Bellaria. Official award ceremony 25 February 2015, Salone dei Marmi, Salerno. The antenna like “a built-in aluminum arc”, bright. The peculiarity is that, shining at night, the antenna acts as a clearly visible lighthouse for travelers arriving in Salerno, from its main entrance, the sea.
