SUPERMOSTRA 24

Supermostra 24 curated by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi e Ilaria Olivieri. A selection of the works of 33 studies for a story of contemporary transformations in Italian architecture. Oltre a presentare lavori esistenti, ogni edizione di Supermostra serve anche da piattaforma per dialoghi con progettisti locali, promuovendo inclusività e scoprendo talenti emergenti senza barriere di genere. The inauguration takes place on 08 March 2024 at the Casa dell’Architettura in Rome, with the collaboration of the order of architects of Rome.

Catalog Supermostra 24

The catalog published by Edition Letteraventidue includes the 33 projects of the 33 Italian architectural studios including AZUHR. Thanks to the vice president of the Order of Architects of Rome Roberta Bocca, the inauguration was made possible as part of the conference on March 8 2024 dedicated to “Feminine Visions”. The images displayed in the exhibition and published in the catalog published by Edition Letteraventidue are by Moreno Maggi and Marcello Campora.

CASA DELL’ARCHITETTURA

At the Casa dell’Architettura in Rome. Amaart, once again selected among the emerging Italian studios, exhibits a representative project. This time chosen in the context of the theme of industry, linked to the world of headquarters. With the Azuhr project, designer Alessia Maggio develops a new facade that wraps around the existing building, giving them a new architectural and symbolic value, of a company in continuous evolution.

Supermostra 24 Exhibition

The front was created thinking of a dance between volumes and openings with ribbon windows with darkened glass that reflect the horizon and with bow windows that overlook the street like telescopes. The entrance gate opens like a curtain onto the internal courtyard, where silence and the flow of water are the protagonists.

TRAVELING EXHIBITION

Supermostra by Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi (LPP) stands out from traditional architecture exhibitions for its continuity and growth over time. More than a single event, it is a series of activities, using various media and scheduled every two years. It aims to explore innovations in the national architectural panorama, evolving and expanding from 22 to 33 designers from Supermostra22 to Supermostra24. Supermostra 24 is an exhibition created and curated by Ilaria Olivieri and Prof. Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi, historian and critic of architecture in the Italian and international scene and professor of “History of Contemporary Architecture” at the University of Rome La Sapienza. 

Supermostra 24 in Sicily

The goal is to become an observatory whose purpose is to verify what is interesting and new on the national scene today. Inspired by Superarchitettura of 1966, it aims to explore innovations in the national architectural panorama. A Supermostra ’22, che si è appena conclusa, segue questa Supermostra ’24 con cadenza biennale. Supermostra is now evolving and expanding from 22 to 33 designers from Supermostra ’22 to Supermostra ’24.
